TIGERS WOMEN VS BRISTOL STORM - 24/02/07
Tigers women enjoyed a winning weekend which saw them secure 2 more valuable points in a local derby with closest rivals Bristol Storm. Storm, like Tigers, are in their first formative season competing at National League level, but unlike Tigers, are still looking to secure their first win in the top flight. For the Tigers, this was a “must win” game to secure their mid table position in the league. So often local derbies are unpredictable in their outcome and can upset the form book, and this was one such game! To the credit to the Tigers, they took to the court in a really competitive frame of mind and gained their biggest winning margin of the season.

TIGERS WOMEN VS BRISTOL STORM - 25/11/06
A week after enjoying a winning weekend against local rivals Bristol Storm, the teams met again in the National Trophy. As so often happens, local derbies can prove notoriously unpredictable in their outcome and can so easily upset the form book. This was one such game! After an emphatic win the previous week, Tigers traveled in a very relaxed frame of mind for this game, knowing they were technically superior in most aspects of their game, to the Bristol Storm players. What Storm lacked in technical ability, they more than made up in spirit, and it was their desire to remain in contention which saw them through, in the end, to a worthy win.
