Taunton Tigers are running a Hoops 4 Health 3 on 3 Tournament for primary school aged players at Somerset College on Sunday 11 March 2012. Teams must have a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 5. Entry is free and to enter a team get your teacher to contact Dave Bullock on 01823 653996.
On the day arrive ready to register between 11.00 – 11.15.
Later in the day after the competition there will be a National League Division 3 match between Taunton Tigers and Hackney White Heat, 15:00 Tip-off at Wellsprings Leisure centre. Entry is £1.50 for children and £3 for adults.
Although Taunton Tigers returned from Oxford Brookes University with another win, it turned out to be one of the most difficult games to date. The team travelled with a depleted squad due to injuries to several players and new signings yet to arrive at the club.

A week after suffering its third loss of the season, the boys bounced back with a critical 60 – 49 win over Exeter Eagles. The win meant Tigers kept its top four place in the Midlands South West Conference and in touch with a playoff spot.

Tigers made the journey across the Severn Bridge to face an up and coming UWIC side in what proved to be an exciting game. There were season debuts for Alex Boden from Shropshire Warriors and Barry Derrick who both signed during the January transfer window.

The U16s rang in the New Year in fine fashion with a 68 – 38 win over Shropshire Warriors. The victory extends the team's league winning streak to six and puts it in a three-way tie for second place in the conference with a record of eight wins and two losses.

Tigers bounced right back in the second match of their two game home stand. With another well-organised defensive display they ensured that Solent just couldn't amass enough points to mount a serious challenge.

Taunton's U16s finished the first half of the season in a tie for third place in the Midlands-South West Conference, following a comfortable 68 – 52 win at home over Bristol Storm. The 7 – 2 Tigers trail second-place Storm by a single point having played one less game.
